Getting To Know the Holy Spirit

 This is Part One of our new series, "Who Is the Holy Spirit?" This first sermon in the new series will help explain to you exactly Who the Holy Spirit is. This is important because before we learn about all the other exciting aspects of the Holy Spirit, we need to know Who He is. Is He some mystical force or is He God the Holy Spirit? Listen and learn!

This is Part Two of this exciting series about the Holy Spirit! We will learn about His coming in POWER in the book of Acts. And that POWER is meant for us today who choose to allow the Spirit to fill us full to overflowing with His presence and Power to do the works of His Kingdom! We NEED This power in our lives! So, take the time to learn about the Holy Spirit! 

This is Part Three of this new sermon series. I am talking this week about MISCONCEPTIONS regarding the Baptism with the Holy Spirit. We need very badly to understand this powerful event that took place and how it can powerfully affect our lives in Christ! 

And we have arrived at Part Four... "The Baptism with the Holy Spirit." To me this is such an important aspect of the Holy Spirit. The Baptism with the Holy Spirit described in Acts 2 was an outpouring of POWER to equip the 120 in the Upper Room for service! They were baptized with POWER to be Christ's witnesses, and to witness the Gospel to the lost with boldness and courage no matter how much they were hated for being followers of Christ! 

 This is Part Five of our series, "Who Is the Holy Spirit?"  We are talking in this sermon about the privileged benefit of the Holy Spirit Baptism that the Bible calls "speaking with tongues." I believe this is a very important aspect of Who the Holy Spirit is, that is so many times misunderstood. I wanted to give my biblical basis for it in hopes that it would ignite in you a desire to receive this wonderful gift that will so enhance your prayer life with God!  

Join me in this sermon about "Spiritual Gifts" given to us as believers, by the Holy Spirit, for the benefit of the Body of Christ. This topic is misunderstood by many, so I want to help you see how important it is for you and me to get off the bench and get in the game and be used to build up the Body of Christ! That's what happens when we operate in the spiritual gifts that are given to us! 

 I am talking to you in Part Two about the various "spiritual gifts" listed in 1 Corinthians 12... the 9 gifts listed there. These spiritual gifts are given to us by the Holy Spirit as He wills. We all, as believers, have a spiritual gift or two, and it's very important we learn to find out what they are so we can help build up and edify the Body of Christ!  

 We are continuing in our Holy Spirit series, and this week's sermon is Part Three in the topic of Spiritual Gifts. We are tackling the Gifts listened in Romans 12:6-8 and looking at each one of them and getting a clear picture of what they are. Remember, you have your own spiritual gifts that you NEED to be using within the Body of Christ (church). Listen and maybe one of these gifts we talk about relates to you! 

 This week's sermon is Part Four on the topic of Spiritual Gifts. This will be focused on Ephesians 4:11 where it lists apostles, prophets, evangelists, and pastor/teachers. There is a lot of confusion concerning these in regard to whether or not all of these "offices" are still functioning in the church today like they did in the early church.
